Vedaa is an action drama film directed by Nikkhil Advani. The filmmaker has directed the film from a script by Aseem Arrora. It stars John Abraham and Sharvari who plays the titular role. The film is dubbed as a ‘high-energy action-drama’ and also stars Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role. The movie also features Tamannaah Bhatia in a special appearance along with Mouni Roy who is featured in a song called Mummy Ji. The action thriller tells the tale of a young Dalit woman who faces brutal oppression and violence due to her caste. Determined to protect herself and her family, Vedaa learns boxing and seeks the help of a former army officer, Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, a grief-stricken officer who becomes her mentor and protector. Their bond forms the core of the film as they battle against societal injustice.
